10-Run Explosion In Game 2 Gives No. 8 Baseball Road Split Vs. Panthers

In a Tuesday (April 16) road Great Midwest Athletic Conference doubleheader, the No. 8-ranked Ashland University baseball team rallied for a 10-5 win in Game 2 after a 9-8 loss in the opener. The victory gives the Eagles a 30-6 overall record – the 24 th 30-plus-win season in program history, all since 1994. Ashland also is 16-4 in the Great Midwest – 1½ games ahead of second-place Findlay and three games ahead of both Walsh and Kentucky Wesleyan. ODU is 18-16, 9-9.
