Alaan Snags SWAC Weekly Award

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Jessica Alaan of Bethune-Cookman Softball has been named Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Hitter of the Week for the period of April 16-22, announced Tuesday afternoon from the league office headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama. Alaan, a freshman second baseman from Pomona, California, is collecting her first SWAC weekly award after helping Bethune-Cookman to a conference series sweep of visiting Alabama A&M last weekend at Sunnyland Park in Daytona Beach, Florida.
