IRVINE, Calif. – Junior Sameen Andar has been named The Big West Women’s Track Athlete of the Week the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon. In her first 10,000-meter race of the year, Andar ran a 13-second personal-record 33:07.48 for a top-10 finish at the Bryan Clay Invitational. She improved on her No. 2 mark in program history and was only .38 seconds off the school record set by Beth McGrann back in 1989.
