Baseball Drops Midweek Contest against Texas State

SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word baseball team put up a fight in the bottom of the ninth, scoring four runs, but ultimately dropped a, 10-8, midweek contest against Texas State University at Sullivan Field, sponsored by H-E-B. The Bobcats’ bats were hot from the start as Texas State put up three runs in the top of the first (3-0). Both TXST and UIW scored in the fourth to bring the score to 4-1.
