Baseball Edged Out by WPI in Extra Innings, 11-10

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Baseball traveled to Northborough on Tuesday for an afternoon showdown against conference rivals WPI. Emerson was looking to bounce back from a 16-6 loss to Suffolk a day prior and pick up their third conference win of the season. The Engineers were aiming to split the season series, having already lost once to the Lions on April 9th by a score of 9-8. WPI stole the game in extras, winning 11-10 and walking off Emerson by scoring three runs in the tenth inning.
