Claridge Named CCIW Offensive Player of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – August Claridge of the Carthage women’s lacrosse team has been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday. Claridge, a freshman from Wheaton, Ill., was dominant in the Firebirds record-breaking 27-3 win over Augustana on April 13, scoring a program single game record 10 goals, along with two assists. Against Illinois Wesleyan on April 10, Claridge scored eight goals and earned another assist.
