Comets Shut Down Celts 14-0
RICHARDSON, Texas – The UT Dallas baseball team came up with its third shutout of the season, run-ruling St. Thomas (Texas) 14-0 at the UTD Baseball Field Tuesday afternoon. The Comets (24-9) outhit the Celts (12-21) 11-3 and drew eight walks while not allowing any. Junior Apollo Cassimatis (2-2) allowed just two hits while striking out five over six innings. Jake Jennings struck out one and surrendered a hit in the seventh to combine for the shutout. UTD opened the scoring with a four-run first inning.
