ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons’ baseball team fell to No. 15 Trinity, 7-2, on Tuesday night at John J. Hunter Field. Before the game, HSU had a ceremony recognizing the 40th anniversary of the dedication of Hunter Field. Many of the Hunter family were in attendance for the celebration. The Cowboys came up with an unearned run in the first inning as Luke Kirkbride scored. Trinity took the lead on a two-run single by Kaleb Woodward.
