NEWTON, N.C. — Furman’s Zach Frazer fired a 69 Tuesday to tie for 46th at the Wofford Invitational at the par 70, 6,683 yard Catawba Country Club in Newton, N.C. A sophomore from Coppell, Texas, Frazer, who played as an individual, teed off on No. 17 in the shotgun start. He birdied No. 3 and No. 9 and turned at even par before concluding the round with consecutive birdies on No. 15 and No. 16.
