Harashima Goes Low on Second Day of Western Intercollegiate
SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - UC Irvine men's golf saw a 16-stroke improvement in the second round of the 77th Western Intercollegiate Tuesday at Pasatiempo Golf Club. The Anteaters combined for a 6-count-5 score of 371. They remained in 14th place at 758 (387-371), but are just two strokes behind Hawai'i heading into tomorrow's final round. No. 38 Stanford took a slight lead with a total of 709 (354-355). No. 9 Arizona (711), No. 8 Washington (712) and No. 34 San Diego State (713) are all within four strokes of the Cardinal.
