BATON ROUGE, La.| The Jackson State softball team traveled for a mid-week matchup at Southern University Tuesday evening. The Tigers came away with a 4-1 win over the Jaguars in the non-conference meeting. HOW IT HAPPENED Jackson State (25-13, 12-5 SWAC) got on the board in the top of the first inning as Jace Jackson doubled to left field to score Ka’Liyah Gipson.
