Kapsimalis Knocks Out Walk-Off Homer As Softball Bests Northern Kentucky, 5-4

DAYTON – The University of Dayton softball team scored five unanswered runs, including junior Maddie Kapsimalis’ walk-off home run, to clip Northern Kentucky, 5-4, Tuesday at UD Softball Stadium. The second baseman was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with two home runs and three RBI. Dayton improves to 21-17 on the season while Northern Kentucky is now 17-15 for the year.
