Kentucky Women’s Golf Ends SEC Championship Run with Mixed Results

BELLEAIR, Fla. – The No. 5-seeded University of Kentucky women’s golf team dropped to No. 4-seeded Mississippi State, 3-1-1, in the Southeastern Conference Women’s Golf Championship match-play quarterfinals at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida, on Monday. Jensen Castle, a graduate student who is competing in her last conference championship, was the lone player to win her match Monday. Castle, an All-American and All-SEC selection, competed against Surapa Janthamunee, winning 4&3.
