Late Comeback Downs FSU

FAIRMONT, W.Va. – The Fairmont State University baseball team faced California University of Pennsylvania in a weekday matinee. After leading for a majority of the game, the Falcons fell to a Vulcans comeback in the eighth inning and ultimately, the final score of 14-10. California opened the contest with a lead-off home run to right field. In the bottom half, Fairmont State got on the board when Noah Canterbury singled up the middle to drive-in Connor Bailey . Later in the frame, Ryan Goff singled to center to bring home Canterbury and Quintin Smith as the home side led 3-1.…
