MacMillan is GSU’s Top Finisher at Wofford Invitational

NEWTON, N.C. — Connor MacMillan shot a 1-under par 69 in Tuesday’s final round to lead Georgia State at the Wofford Invitational, the Panthers’ final tuneup before next week’s Sun Belt Conference Championship. The sophomore from Woodstock, Ga., finished tied for 12th with a 3-over 213 (72-72-69) on the par 70 layout at Catawba Country Club. Today’s round included three birdies and two bogeys. Sophomore Gareth Steyn shot 70 today to finish right behind MacMillan, tied for 14th at 215 (72-73-70). He carded three straight birdies on 14-15-16.
