Manning and O’Neill Claim Big Ten Weekly Awards

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Penn State women’s lacrosse’s Sydney Manning and Kristin O’Neill have earned Big Ten Weekly Awards, the conference announced Tuesday. Manning was named Freshman and Defensive Player of the Week, while O’Neill collected Midfielder of the Week honors. The duo earns the recognition after helping the Nittany Lions upset then-No. 4 Maryland, 12-11, over the weekend. Manning faced a career high 36 shots, while making 11 saves.
