Marauders sweep Farmers, edged out by Eagles in extras
The Marcus Marauders had an impressive showing against the Lewisville Farmers in their recent two-game district 6-6A series. The Marauders secured victories in both games, outscoring the Farmers 24-0 in the process. In the first game on April 9, Marcus cruised to a 14-0 win in a five-inning run-rule shortened game. The Marauders' offense exploded for seven runs in the top of the first inning and never looked back. Rock Duer led the charge, going 3-for-3 with three runs scored, one RBI, and a double.
