Men’s Tennis Narrowly Falls to UMass Boston
CASTLETON, Vt. – The Vermont State University Castleton men’s tennis team fell one set short of its first Little East Conference victory Tuesday, yielding its matchup with UMass Boston, 5-4, at the Castleton Tennis Courts. Despite a top-flight doubles loss, the Spartans’ (4-4, 0-4 LEC) third tandem of Stanley Andersen/Christian Giannone nabbed an 8-2 win to break even.
