Meyer Earns UMAC Softball Pitcher of the Week

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced its Athlete of the Week Winners on Tuesday morning and Bethany Lutheran softball’s Emily Meyer took home Pitcher of the Week honors. After missing a portion of the year due to injury, Meyer came back and made an immediate impact for the Vikings. She returned to action this week, tossing a total of 23.2 innings and allowing zero earned runs while amassing 32 strikeouts. She highlighted her week with a no-hitter on Wednesday against North Central, striking out 11 batters in the win.
