Naomi Cass Named MASCAC Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. — Bridgewater State University sophomore Naomi Cass has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week. Cass placed third in the 5,000-meter run with a PR time of 17:47.05 this past weekend at the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College. The Westport, Massachusetts native helped the Bears place fourth in the team standings at the meet. Cass currently ranks eighth in the East Region in the 5,000.
