LOUISVILLE, Ky. – In a battle of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s (SLIAC) top two teams in the baseball standings, second-place Mississippi University for Women lost a pair of tight games to league-leader Spalding University by scores of 3-2 and 10-8. The Owls fell to 18-10 overall (8-4 in the SLIAC), while the Golden Eagles upped their record to 20-10 (12-0 in the SLIAC).
