Panthers topple 8th ranked Missouri Southern St. in Joplin

JOPLIN, Mo.— Wes Collins homered twice and Brandon Holdren went 4 for 5 as the Drury Panthers took down eighth-ranked Missouri Southern State 11-4 in Joplin on Tuesday. The Panthers won for the seventh time in eight games and raised their record to 22-15. The Lions dropped to 33-11. Collins got Drury on the board with a solo shot in the second inning and the Panthers added two more runs in the frame.
