Prep boys golf: Hartford Invitational

HARTFORD — Cody Schmidt tied for second individually while leading Germantown to second place as the two-day Hartford Invitational wrapped up at Washington County Golf Course. Schmidt finished with a 1-over-par 73 for a total of 146, one shot behind Waterford junior Robbie Meyers. The Warhawks finished with 617 strokes, trailing only Greater Metro rival Marquette (612). Hartford Union was sixth with 633, followed by Slinger (10th, 650), Kettle Moraine Lutheran (17th, 660), West Bend West (19th, 669), Kewaskum (24th, 693)., West Bend East (35th, 738) and Living Word Lutheran (41st, 818).
