Roos hold off Bears, Reitano ties scoring mark
CANTON, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam women’s lacrosse team (3-8) rallied multiple times before falling 15-11 to SUNY Canton (7-5) on Tuesday evening. Graduate student attack Anita Reitano (Averill Park, N.Y./Averill Park) led the Bears with four goals and two assists. The six points move her into a tie for the program’s scoring record with Hall of Famer Carly Richards ’12 with 218 points (136g-82a). The Kangaroos opened the game with two goals.
