The Gordon College Women’s Lacrosse team headed into Boston for a Commonwealth Coast Confernce (CCC) contest under the lights on Sweeney Field against the Wentworth Institute Leopards. The Fighting Scots bested their counterparts, 13-6, as they walked away with the victory. To lead all scorers on the evening was Gordon’s Kaitlyn Mini as she tallied six goals. While Caroline Piorkowski added three goals and two assists, and Abbie Zorrilla put up two goals of her own. Wentworth’s Kiki Dempsey and Maggie McCann both produced two goals for the Leopards, while teammate Jenny Montville collected eight ground balls. How It Happened…
