Seven Gauchos Earn Spot on Academic All-Conference Team

IRVINE, Calif. – The Big West announced its Winter Academic All-Conference Team Tuesday, with seven UC Santa Barbara student-athletes being honored. The Gauchos' Men's Basketball team placed four while the Women's Basketball team placed three. In order to qualify for the Academic All-Conference honor, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.00 cumulative grade point average and have completed at least one academic year at their institution prior to the season for which they are receiving the award.
