Softball Falls in Non-Conference Showdown at Towson

TOWSON, Md. – Coppin State’s softball team fell at Towson, 3-0, on Tuesday afternoon at Tiger Softball Stadium. The Eagles fell to 16-16 on the year while the Tigers improved to 17-26. Vanessa Carrizosa pitched well in the loss, allowing just two earned runs on six hits while striking out a pair in the complete game. Coppin matched Towson with six hits, including a pair of leadoff hitter Aniyah Haley .
