Softball Wins Game 1 in Extras; Game 2 Suspended for Darkness
BALTIMORE, Md. The Albright college softball team (6-22) won game one of today’s doubleheader 8-7 in extra innings over Notre Dame of Maryland (14-10) and were on their way to a game two win leading 10-6 before the game was suspended due to darkness in the top of the fifth inning. Game 1: W, 8-7 (8 INN) Marissa Rovenstine and Heather Pomante each collected three hits in game one. The duo combined for six hits, two runs scored and an RBI.
