COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Benedict College baseball team swept a non-conference doubleheader over Paine College on Tuesday at Tiger Field. The Tigers rallied with two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning of the first game as Ri'shon Pearl hit a sharp single down the left field line to drive home the winning run in a 9-8 victory. The Tigers completed the sweep with a 10-4 victory in the second game. The Tigers improve to 14-19 overall, while Paine falls to 13-15.
