Tornados Win Big on Graduate Day Celebrating Brooke Garland

BREVARD, N.C. – The Brevard College women’s tennis team (8-6, 4-3 USA South) defeated Salem College (5-9, 2-5 USAS) 8-1 on Tuesday afternoon in a USA South Conference matchup at the McCoy Tennis Complex. The victory came on Graduate Day as graduate student Brooke Garland was honored for her contributions as a Brevard College student-athlete. Garland teamed with her longtime doubles partner Sophie Trantham and promptly won 8-0 in number two doubles.
