Women’s Golf Finishes Fourth at OVC Championships

The Lindenwood women’s golf team finished in fourth place at the OVC Championships in Tunica, Miss., compiling a team score of 952 at Tunica National Golf Club. OVERVIEW The Lions opened the tournament with a 325, which put them in a tie with Western Illinois after the first 18. Lindenwood was led by Andrea Alvarez , who shot a five-over 77, as she sat in a tie for fourth after the first round. The native of Mexico used a team-high two birdies to get to that score.
