WOMEN’S LACROSSE FIGHTS NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED NEW HAVEN

ALBANY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose women's lacrosse team couldn't get past Northeast-10 Conference rival New Haven today, as the Chargers, who received votes in the most recent IWLCA national poll, took the 16-5 win at Sullivan Field. Kylee Payne and Daria Bock scored two times each, while Katy McPeak had one goal and one assist. Dorothy Gaffney turned away a program record 16 shots in net this evening for Saint Rose. The Chargers recorded a 37-17 advantage in shot attempts. Looking ahead, the Golden Knights travel to Pleasantville, N.Y. to square off with #1 Pace on Saturday afternoon.
