Women’s Lacrosse: Owls surge late, not enough to stop Scots

WOOSTER, Ohio – The Kenyon College women’s lacrosse team made the short trip to Wooster, Ohio on Tuesday night for the team’s third North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) game of the season, taking on The College of Wooster. After battling through a close first half where the Owls trailed 6-5, the Scots built a five goal lead in the third quarter and despite a hearty comeback effort to bring the deficit to one with under a minute remaining, the home team fended off the comeback and narrowly escaped with a 13-12 victory.
