MORAGA, Calif. (BVM) – Saint Mary’s sophomore Aidan Mahaney has entered the college basketball transfer portal following an early exit in the NCAA Tournament.

The 6-foot-3 guard out of Campolindo High School in Moraga, Calif. spent the first two years of his collegiate career in his hometown with the Gaels. He’s earned two first-team All-WCC selections and averaged 13.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 69 games. Mahaney was named to the Wooden Award and Naismith Trophy preseason watchlists ahead of his sophomore season and enters the portal with two years of eligibility remaining.
