GALESBURG, Illinois – The Prairie Fire baseball team dropped a conference doubleheader to Illinois College on Wednesday afternoon. The Blueboys jumped out to a 9-1 lead in game one, but Knox scored five in the fourth inning to bring the score within three. Illinois College scored eight runs over the next two innings to earn the early victory. The Prairie Fire took an early 2-1 lead in game two, but the Blueboys scored five runs in the second inning to take control. They held on for the win.
