Baseball Thumps Kalamazoo, Wins Season Series

Leftfielder Brenden Collins and the Hope College baseball team crushed it. Collins blasted a three-run homer in his hometown that launched the MIAA-leading Flying Dutchmen to a 14-0, seven-inning victory at second-place Kalamazoo College and a series victory on Tuesday. The sophomore from Kalamazoo, Michigan (Hackett Catholic HS) sparked a five-run first inning. Hope defeated the defending MIAA regular-season champion Hornets at their Woodsworth Field for the second time in six days.
