Bulls Sign JUCO Transfer Makenna Shaffer

BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo women’s basketball head coach Becky Burke announced the signing of JUCO transfer Makenna Shaffer to the roster for the 2024-25 season. She has three years of eligibility remaining. Shaffer, a 6’1 guard from Greeley, Colorado, comes to Buffalo after a standout rookie season at Florida SouthWestern State, where earned First Team All-Conference and FCSAA All-State Team honors after helping the Bucs qualify for the FCSAA State Tournament. Shaffer averaged 12.0 points and 7.8 rebounds per game, playing in all 30 and starting 28 contests, as a freshman. She scored in double figures 20 times…
