Cael Schmitt named CSC DIII Men’s Basketball Academic All-America Team Member of the Year

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Coe College men’s basketball player Cael Schmitt was announced as the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division III Academic All-America Team Member of the Year on Wednesday afternoon in the organization’s Academic All-America awards release. Schmitt, a two-time All-America honoree, is Coe’s first-ever Academic All-American of the Year recipient and is the A-R-C’s first winner since the 2020-21 season.
