AUSTIN, Texas – UConn men’s basketball standout Cam Spencer (Davidsonville, Md.) has been named to the 2023-24 Academic All-America First Team, the College Sports Communicators announced on Wednesday (April 15). Spencer excelled on and off the court in his lone season in Storrs, becoming the second Husky to earn CoSIDA Academic All-America honors in program history (Emeka Okafor, 2002-03 and 2003-04). At UConn he is pursuing a certificate in nonprofit management and holds a 3.50 GPA. He finished his undergraduate time with a 3.80 GPA.
