KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- For the third time this season Maja Jung was named the MIAA Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week this afternoon by the conference. Jung went 4-0 combined in singles and doubles competition to help No. 14 Washburn to an undefeated week with conference victories over Central Oklahoma and Northeastern State. In the Ichabods 4-3 win over the Bronchos she and Lara Schmid won a 6-2 match over the No. 24 nationally ranked doubles team of UCO at No. 1., and in singles she defeated No. 69 Nefeli Zafeiri in three sets to clinch the match.
