Kornblau Ties Program’s Career Home Run Record in Doubleheader Split with St. Lawrence
CANTON, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State baseball team split a non-conference doubleheader against St. Lawrence on Wednesday afternoon, winning game one 10-9, before falling 9-0 in game two. The Cards came back from a six-run deficit to win game one, as Alex Kornblau (Pound Ridge, N.Y./Fox Lane) tied the program record for career homers with his 11 th career blast. Kornblau finished the day 4-6 with two RBI, three runs scored, a stolen base, and two walks, while Austin Caldwell (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) also had four hits with two doubles and a run scored.
