Lacrosse Shuts Down Emerson in NEWMAC Action, 20-5

NORTHAMPTON – Seniors Gia Arancio (Smithtown, N.Y./Hauppauge) and Jennie Arancio (Smithtown, N.Y./Hauppauge) combined for eight goals and three assists as Smith College rolled to a 20-5 victory over Emerson College in New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women’s lacrosse action on Wednesday evening. Gia Arancio (Smithtown, N.Y./Hauppauge) recorded her 100th career goal in the game and her sister Jennie reached the 100 career point milestone.
