Lane takes series over LeMoyne-Owen
JACKSON, Tenn. - The Lane College baseball team picked up a crucial series win this past weekend over rival LeMoyne-Owen College. Lane opened the series with an 8-0 shutout and took game two in dominate fashion, 22-2; The Magicians avoided the sweep on Sunday, rallying from a two run deficit in the bottom of the 9th inning to win 15-14 on a walk-off sacrifice fly Thomas Touchette (4-2) earned the win in game one, pitching 8.0 innings and allowing no runs while striking out 13 batters Nate McKenna (5-2) got the series clinching win in game two, throwing 6.0 innings...
