Laurel Mountain Hockey League announces award winners
Richland’s Jack Lorence topped a group of local players honored by the Laurel Mountain Hockey League as it announced its awards for the 2023-24 season. Lorence, a senior, was named most valuable player by the league after he tallied 35 goals and 16 assists in 17 games, according to statistics posted online. Forest Hills’ Chase Secriskey, who also tallied 51 points to tie Lorence for the league’s lead per online statistics, was named the league’s top offensive player and rookie of the year.
