Men’s tennis defeats Lynchburg in ODAC matchup

DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University men’s tennis took down University of Lynchburg 8-1 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference action on Wednesday at the Averett Tennis Courts. Averett (7-7, 6-2 ODAC) won all three doubles matches, with the No. 1 doubles pairing of sophomores Alex Donnelly and Prabjeet Chandhok won a tough match 8-3 after the No. 2 doubles tandem of junior Jaeden Mukkaladyil and sophomore Kazuki Fukushima won 8-1 and the Cougars got an 8-1 win at No. 3 from sophomores Sam Egui and Martin Guyot .
