Men’s Tennis Downed by Colby-Sawyer

CASTLETON, Vt. – The Vermont State University Castleton men’s tennis team ran up against a robust Colby-Sawyer squad in non-conference play Wednesday afternoon, taking a 9-0 loss to the Chargers. The Spartans (4-5) were suppressed in doubles action as Colby-Sawyer (10-10) managed 8-0 wins in the top two spots. Riding recent momentum, Stanley Andersen and Christian Giannone hung with CSC’s Matthew Gaudioso and Leonardo Russo at the third flight but fell short, 8-4.
