Minix Honored as Academic All-American

D1 MBB ACADEMIC ALL AMERICANS MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State basketball standout Riley Minix's legendary status keeps being cemented with more honors and accolades. This week, he earned perhaps one of the nation's most prestigious awards as he was named Second-Team Academic All-American, as selected by the College Sports Communicators. An Academic All-American at Southeastern (Fla.) before transferring to MSU for his graduate season in 2023-24, Minix is the only student-athlete on a mid-major program to be named Academic All-American for D1 men's basketball.
