West Long Branch, N.J. – Monmouth University Men’s Basketball graduate guard Xander Rice was named to the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association All-Met First Team, the MBWA announced Wednesday. Rice is the second Hawk in program history to earn All-Met First Team honors, joining Justin Robinson, who did it twice in 2016 and 2017. He joins Micah Seaborn , Deion Hammond and George Papas as All-Met honorees. Rice finished the season 25 th nationally in total points and 28 th in points per game.
