NCCU’s Suttles Named MEAC Softball Player of the Week
NORFOLK, Va. – North Carolina Central University freshman outfield Tyler Suttles batted .545 and drove in seven runs in a three-game sweep of league rival University of Maryland Eastern Shore on the way to being named MEAC Softball Player of the Week, as announced by the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference on Wednesday, April 17. Suttles had a pair of three-hit performances in the Eagles road sweep over the Hawks. She started the weekend with three hits, two RBI, two runs and two stolen bases in NCCU's 6-5 extra-inning win.
