Nick Pringle enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots
Mississippi State Bulldogs
Mississippi State was another one of the teams interested in adding Pringle following his stint at the JUCO level and the Bulldogs could now look to lure him away from one of their SEC rivals. Mississippi State has made back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances under head coach Chris Jans and has a bright future ahead with talented guard Josh Hubbard on the roster who averaged over 17 points this past season as just a freshman. However, the Bulldogs will lose one of their most important players, 6-foot-10 forward Tolu Smith, in addition to some other frontcourt pieces like D.J. Jeffries and Jimmy Bell Jr., who are also out of eligibility. As a result, Pringle would likely see a significant workload in Starkville while also being able to mentor a couple of Jans’ incoming frontcourt recruits: 7-footer Chol Machot and forward Eric Paymon.
